New to the Royals this season is an indoor practice facility that the organization can call home.
The Royals Athletic Center, aka the RAC, allows teams to continue workouts in the off-season and the opportunity to improve their game year-round.
The facility, located in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, features four retractable batting cages and pitching pens that open up wide for a full turf field.
The indoor field is also used by other teams for practice and one-on-one or group batting, hitting, pitching lessons along with strength, conditioning, and agility sessions.
